4-Day program - Deeptech Entrepreneurship
The program was co-taught by faculty of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management at IIT Hyderabad and subject matter industry experts to give participants a balanced view of Deeptech entrepreneurship.
Apart from entrepreneurship modules, participants learnt about the landscape of emerging technologies, the relevance of intellectual property and the lab to market journey in innovation specific to deep-tech Tech start-ups. It was further powered by interactions with CEO of iTIC (Technology Incubator at IIT Hyderabad) and 3 Deeptech start-up founders – IPHIPI Technologies, Alfaleus Tech and Avika AI.
The 30 participants included budding entrepreneurs and students with technology start-up ideas from several colleges covering Telangana, AP, Tamil Nadu and Orissa – SRKR Engg. College, Lendi Engineering College, Vel Tech College, SRM AP, VIT Amravati and Centurion University.
2-Day program - People Centered Design and Innovation
The overarching goal of this program designed for corporate innovators and taught by seasoned faculty, Professor Jhumkee Iyengar (visiting faculty IIT Kanpur), was to train professionals on Design Thinking methodology of keeping people’s needs and pains at the center of any problem-solving activity in order to arrive at innovative and differentiated solutions that the market requires.
24 participants from diverse sectors such as engineering, design, semiconductor and financial management attended this Program – Danfoss Industries Pvt. Ltd, Lam Research India Pvt. Ltd, Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd, Cyient, Incepteo and others.
2 Day Bootcamp - Entrepreneurship Essentials.
Offered to college students, this program covered the building blocks of Innovative Entrepreneurship. It was further enriched by interactions with 2 IIT Hyderabad Alumni Entrepreneurs – Aditya Aagare (ThermoFlyde) and Saurabh Gawli (Adiabatic)
40 Students from 8 Colleges Participated in this Program - Godavari Institute of Engeering &Technology, RGUKT, JNTU Kakinada (AP), CVR College of Engineering, Aditya College of Engineering, Surampalem, AP, Malla Reddy College of Engineering, G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (For Women) and Keshav Memoal Institute of Technology.
Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of India, visited BVR Mohan Reddy School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
During this event the Honourable Minister, Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, interacted with postgraduate students from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management urging them to find solutions to societal challenges through entrepreneurial activity and become job creators to achieve the nation's vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.

Dr Abhay Karandikar, Head – Department of Science and Technology (DST), visited BVR SCIENT along with his team on March 21, 2024. He interacted with Mtech and PhD students and encouraged the School to develop programs on entrepreneurial mindset for researchers at higher education institutes.March 2024Visit by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
IITH has a very unique collaboration with Japanese universities and industries. In this context, JICA delegation led by Mr Saitho San visited BVR SCIENT on 22nd Feb ’24.
